Hello dear construction experts,
we are currently building our house with a general contractor. Now the sanitary subcontractor did not install the pipes according to our bathroom plan, i.e., centered for a 60 cm washbasin. The annoying thing is that I specifically bought a designer siphon, which now cannot be installed, and instead a really ugly and also crooked siphon was used. Since the tiling is already done, it would of course be a huge effort to install it correctly. What is my legal situation here, can I demand rectification from the general contractor since a 60 cm washbasin was indicated in the work plan, or can the general contractor claim disproportionate effort, or do I have to accept it?
Thank you very much in advance!
