Just now my Bosch Logixx 6 washing machine stopped working with error 08. That’s just what I needed! Does anyone happen to know this error? On the internet it says something about "No signal from the motor tachogenerator". In case of motor damage - is it even worth calling a technician or should I just buy a new one? :(

You can also find good tips on Youtube. That’s how we got our dryer working again.

It will be at least not worse than before ;o) It's worth a try. I would just give it a shot.

Nowadays (and for quite some time) most electronic devices are basically computers. And with computers, you should practically always try restarting first. Many problems will surely disappear just by doing that. Only if that doesn't help, you call support.

The reset story unfortunately didn’t help. I have now telephoned Bosch. After an intensive search it turns out: the heating element is defective. New heating element costs €269. Travel, repair + tip amount to almost €400. So it’s a total loss. :mad: Since my doctor has forbidden me any stress, I have promptly sentenced the machine to death and will get a new one. :P
