From the basement, you go upstairs to hang the laundry in the garden. In a hillside house, like ours, you wash the laundry upstairs where it originates and hang it outside on the same level. Drying in the basement with a tilted window, I know from earlier, can take a few days until it is dry.

The question was quickly resolved for us because the entire technical room is on the upper floor, as there is no basement. Therefore, the washing machine is also located there..

Then we're back to the topic: Hanging laundry outside or not? If not, it's ideal if you have extra space for that. If yes, you still have to go downstairs anyway.

I throw almost everything in the dryer :D If I had to hang something up, I'd have to go from the basement up to the garden or from the upper floor down... I think it ends up the same.
