Thanks for the info nightdancer, I will read through it. I think since it is also interesting for the OP: what advantages does masonry have if you have the choice. Lightweight construction is cheaper, more flexible, and cables can be installed internally. The only disadvantage I see is with heavy wall cabinets.

Lightweight construction is not necessarily cheaper, quite the opposite. You can quickly reach 100,- Euro/m2.

Objectively: none. However, it is easier to sell to customers .... "You get a completely solidly built house" and it also caters to the common (naive) prejudices (easier to sell) that lightweight walls in the attic are not real walls

Cheaper: no. Regarding hanging cabinets - you need almost special fasteners for every stone; these also exist for lightweight walls

How is the sound insulation with solid gypsum walls? They are also 10 cm thick and I have seen them several times in upper floors.

If I now summarize all this and have understood it correctly, I should ask the architect whether it would make sense to build the wall using drywall construction in order to achieve maximum soundproofing with minimal wall thickness.

As a child of a terraced house who lived for 12 years next to his sister separated by a lightweight partition wall and separated from the bathroom by a 115mm KS: I rarely heard my sister talking, what you hear is knocking or bass. I always heard the bathroom – but that was probably because the pipes were simply laid in the wall. Conclusion: no matter what you do, make sure it is done properly!!!
