The valves are certainly not optimally positioned. How is it when you switch your system to maximum performance? Does it get significantly better then?

Phew, hard to say – the air never really gets that good. So, no comparison to when you open a double window for 10-15 minutes.
Not even after several hours of intensive ventilation (280 m³/h)

It is all subjective, it absolutely must be measured.

Especially in new buildings, the first year "feels like" the ventilation system brings very little. Everything smells and steams out. There is always a smell of furniture, glue, and other installed materials. On top of that, there is increased humidity.

A normal controlled residential ventilation system is not designed to eliminate odors and equalize temperature under new building conditions. In a steady state, it provides oxygen-rich air for the residents. That is its task. Otherwise, it would have to be designed to be many times stronger.

I would rather compare it to tilted ventilation vs. shock ventilation. Everyone knows the difference!

Only a PPM meter brings clarity.

That was also the statement of the installer, which he used as a "knockout argument" to get rid of me for now.
The ppm meter is ordered and is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I will then log it in different rooms over a longer period.

Great! Always make sure to position it so that it is not directly on the valve and is in the center of the room. The windowsill or furniture are suitable.

Supply air, exhaust air and chimneys in a line - is that a common and especially sensible arrangement? even if there is currently no wood stove connected, the chimney is planned for that, right?
