But you can also make a discussion out of every little thing ;)

Either it bothers you a lot, then say something
Or you tolerate it. Work it out on site, but form your own opinion and attitude.

This is just being asked casually now, right?! In the end, these things concern you in the offensive room:

Because in such a short time nothing happens, nothing is corroded or dirtied that you don’t already sweep or clean before moving in, now something like this comes up:

Either you go to the general contractor or you go to the craftsman. Or you let it be.

No, I wouldn’t. I’m quite tolerant about what doesn’t restrict me or bring me any disadvantage. And if a craftsman can only work well with a cigarette at the corner of his mouth, then let him do it.
And smoking breaks are moved outside anyway in this weather.

We also had a construction pit and such, even during the first build. Actually, I have to say that during the first build there were even more cigarette butts, as far as I remember. But after installing the windows/plastering, they all moved outside. During the construction pit and shell construction phase, it didn’t bother me much. But now that the house is slowly becoming weather-tight, I don’t like it so much anymore.

Then try it and place an ashtray outside in a clearly visible spot. And otherwise, relax. 6 cigarettes, not 60 or 600, won't ruin windows or plaster.

And then better get used to the idea that the craftsmen, as soon as the toilets in the house work and you no longer have to go to the [Dixie], will not sit down for the little business.

Unlearning it is the bigger problem - you can't become a news anchor with that anymore ;-)

Oh dear. And now that we have learned that IT also has no future, two professions are already out.
I think we should let him learn an instrument, music is always needed. :D

On the subject of smoking: I talked to the construction contractor today. I was a bit afraid to bring it up because I didn’t want to come across as picky. But he took it quite easily. He said that for his people it is actually standard not to smoke on the construction site, and he thought hard about who it could have been since not many smoke. But he saw it the same way we do, so hopefully it was an exception. =)

Which workers are still coming after the toilet installation? For us, that was the very last thing, and by then the tiling has to be done anyway. I can only imagine the painter coming afterwards, if you’re not doing the painting yourself.
