Towel radiator electric or via underfloor heating?

Hello,

in addition to the underfloor heating (air-to-water heat pump), we will get a towel radiator in the bathroom.
As standard, it is also connected to the underfloor heating with our general contractor.
But doesn't it make more sense to operate it electrically due to the low flow temperature and dependency on the operation of the actual heating system??

What do you think?

No matter, you don't need one at all. We also thought about it for a long time, totally unnecessary.

Exactly. Therefore, if absolutely necessary, then via E, as cheaply as possible, who will then warm up Mom’s towel a bit, and that’s that.

We don't need one, but we have one in the family bathroom. It's electric. It's good for hanging towels on the shower. We turn it on a maximum of 10 times, it's simply a luxury. It wouldn't get warm on the underfloor heating.

PS Ours is open on one side

Find them unnecessary too. Never had the need to heat my towel. They are also dust catchers. Preferably replaced with a cabinet instead. If at all, then electric. With the supply temperature of underfloor heating, it will hardly get warm.

For heat pumps that are electric and not water-based.

The auxiliary heating is usually necessary to temporarily heat a bit higher. It can be completely omitted if, in addition to underfloor heating, you also use walls and/or ceiling as heating surfaces in the bathroom. In this case, the bathroom can even be permanently a bit warmer than the other rooms.

If you operate the air-to-water heat pump with individual room control, buffer storage, and increased/inefficient flow temperature, then it also works without everything – but you surely don’t want that. If you omit it, still plan the electrical connection. It can work without it, but it should be well planned since the bathroom is often the weak point with low flow temperature. We use ours very rarely to get above 21 degrees with the baby.

You’ll learn more precisely through the room-by-room heat load calculation and the subsequent planning of the surface heating. Not just an estimate.

If electric, then infrared is somewhat more comfortable.
