Hm, we also insulated the walls in the basement with Styrofoam, but to be honest, I’m not worried about fire safety there. The fire rises upward, and there is no Styrofoam there, but a wooden facade. That probably burns even better than Styrofoam. Since the ETICS has been installed, I have noticed a huge difference, especially near the windows. Before, it felt like sitting in front of an open freezer (it wasn’t due to the windows, but the hollow spot beneath where the wall didn’t quite reach the window). Now it’s good, and the musty smell in the basement is completely gone as well.

Hello,

Not all of them certainly; I have not claimed that anywhere. However, I can’t think of any logical reason why I shouldn’t believe the contribution tonight. I heard an interview with the reporter this morning, and what was said finally matched my experience; without, among other things, the usual hiding behind "flammability resistant". This alone led me to recommend the contribution.

That even before the contribution was broadcast, mistrust about the content was sown; see my response to Yvonne. But you are not arguing with the slogans of the chemical industry but with ratings.

Watch the program without prejudice if you have time, and we can gladly continue the discussion here afterwards ;)

Regards from the Rhineland

I admit, when I read the name Konrad Fischer beforehand and he is brought in as an expert on this topic, yes, it becomes difficult to watch this contribution without prejudice. But you don’t watch this film without prejudice anyway ;)

Well, and before anyone here even doubted the film, you already preemptively labeled all contributions that don’t align with your beliefs as lobbying in post 3.
