I have already been on site at [Fa. Haas]. My subjective impression was that it is a top company. However, I cannot speak for the quality,... as I am not interested in a prefabricated house. We were there only because of the show house park.

How some people here are slowly going crazy and there is honestly nothing but complete nonsense to read...

If we were resistant to advice, we would now be building a cheap GÜ house with bedrooms 2.70m wide, 2 mini peepholes in the living room to the garden, one of which would be completely blocked by the couch, and a wall construction that combines the disadvantages of monolithic and ETICS...

Fortunately, we are not doing that because we have learned a lot. And in retrospect, my first 200-300 posts were quite rubbish, but you have to learn first.

I find it legitimate and there is no need to turn up one's nose if one wants to build relatively cheaply. Here in Bavaria, the land alone is so expensive that it is often not enough for an architect-designed house. That can then also be Flair113. If someone is satisfied with that, then that is completely okay.

We do not know what the OP envisions; meanwhile, there is now a 6-page discussion here, but unfortunately no feedback from her yet.

I think both companies she mentioned offer solid solutions; it just depends on what she wants. For a custom-designed house, it is definitely interesting to also look at local providers. If she wants a pure standard, then she is probably better off with a large, nationwide company. There are certainly more than the two providers she mentioned; I would definitely look at those as well. But perhaps she has already done that, and these two have remained on her shortlist after a long examination and she only wants our opinion on these two providers.

Everything we are doing now is speculation. I would wait for another statement from the OP about what exactly she needs and wants.

Concrete discussions, if at all, take place in the moderated subforum. But even there, it is not a lawless area, so negative posts without evidence must not be left standing.

I advise Mrs. Ungeduld to browse through construction blogs and diaries – the experiences of the builders are recorded there.

In short, regards

So unfortunately I can't say much about the manufacturers. I only know that there are several Haas houses in our village because the sales manager lives in our village. Unfortunately, on all Haas houses, the weather-exposed side has become so green and dark (after a very short time) that I would definitely address this with the seller. The houses were certainly not from the cheap sector. Perhaps Haas has also changed the composition of its exterior plaster and this is currently no problem anymore, or you can get a different one for a small additional cost. I would just be really upset if I had to pay so much money and after three years had such a "rotting" wall.
