Simple answer: It definitely lies within the tolerable tolerance range, not great work but it's craftsmanship and acceptable. Legally no chance to make a complaint about it.

I would cautiously let the developer understand that you are dissatisfied. But I don't see anything more than a price reduction.

I have often seen worse work, but also often significantly better.

It's a matter of luck especially with the developer.

Look at it this way... The tiles are usually straight. If the wall is slightly crooked, and that does happen, then the tiler can only compensate for it through the joint, since the tiles are, as mentioned, mostly straight. Therefore not a prime example of the best work of the century, but quite acceptable and OK like that...

I agree with the previous speakers. Especially since these are details that one probably does not see in normal life at a normal viewing distance, only if one is watching with [Argus eyes]. The tolerance limits do not seem to be exceeded.

You just have to let the trainees practice on the construction site sometimes.
Really not a nice job, but there will probably be little you can do about it.

Hello Lars, you are not being too picky, the spots did not turn out well. Trainees also need to learn how to correct poor work. In any case, I would seek a constructive and not confrontational conversation. Because even if no claim can be derived, that does not mean that a concession cannot be negotiated. Even if it is in another area. We had a tile spot that was certainly within the scope of professional work but did not exactly radiate excellence. The tiler was an honorable man with proud dedication to his profession. The repair was no problem, he invested a trip to and from and about 4 hours of work. Afterwards, we were both satisfied.
