But to my knowledge, those are expensive additional services. In the standard, completely neutral, first the plaster is applied and then the tiles come. Unimaginable if my beautiful glass tiles had gotten plaster on them from the "rough trade."

That the tile protrudes over the plaster is normal and that is why [Fliese die Niroleiste oben drauf] is placed on top to make it look nice. The base tile on the floor is the same. It simply protrudes a bit. Special constructions are special constructions at special prices and should not be sold here as standard.

That's exactly what I meant. Can you post a photo? Thank you :) PS: I did not say that I want standard solutions, but rather presented these two variants for discussion.

You didn’t talk about what you want at all – you presented these variants for discussion. And the fact is that one variant means a considerable extra charge. It’s comparable to whether one opts for an affordable 16 sqm living room or chooses 40 ;) What you ultimately want is up to you.

Then you should carry it through consistently throughout the house. Tiles and plaster flush = baseboards and plaster flush = room doors and plaster flush. Otherwise, you mix things up a lot and it might be noticed negatively.

I perceive this chrome strip look as Sixties Vintage Retro and could imagine that this viewpoint will sooner or later reach other taste factions as well. After all, glass blocks were once considered stylish, as was terracotta.
