Hello,

we are currently choosing tiles for the bathroom.
Now we have seen floor tiles in size 80x80.
But I can hardly imagine how that would look in a room with 13 sqm.

Does anyone have tiles of this size in their bathroom and how do you find it?

Thanks and regards

I currently have 60x60 in my small condominium bathroom. The bathroom size is about 4.5 sqm. It looks great.
Especially in small rooms, large tiles work particularly well. Better bigger than too small.

also have a small WC with a shower, about 6.5 sqm, and have laid 60x60cm tiles. Looks great, I can hardly imagine smaller as nice, but that is a matter of taste. The tile seller told me the same.... in small rooms, large tiles look great

It also always depends on how the room is laid out. With 13m², you could also manage with just 2, 3, or 4 tiles of a larger format. Depending on how the room is laid out, this could also look very good. We also have 60x60cm tiles in our guest WC (2m²). In the bathroom, we have the large ones (320x160cm).

You say that as a user. I can chalk that up to a matter of taste. In contrast to where my mind's cinema plays the lines: that is always gladly taken # that's how it's done today # that suits you perfectly # that makes you look slim - sales talk. I can much more easily agree with Because especially in a small bathroom, it very much depends on the proportions of the floor plan how well object and joint positions can be brought into harmony. Besides, I think that the color contrast between tile and grout influences the perceived more or less checkered pattern just as strongly as the tile format.
