Thriller on ARD on 15.12. "The House"

Where is this in Germany, or perhaps in Scandinavia?

The titular house is located in Stavsnäs near Stockholm.

I also watched the movie tonight.
My conclusion: beautiful landscape, great view. Not a place for me. The island was how long? 30-50m or so. Completely unrealistic for a home.
The house, lifeless, loveless, uncomfortable, impersonal.
The story itself, very sensational. Actually, it is not about a house, but about the fictional possibilities where a current society can lead us. Quite justifiably frightening.
As for the main actor, "the house," complete nonsense. Nobody wants something like that. Drawers that open by themselves, doors in front of which I have to stand miserably long before I can pass through. In general, the "AI" is completely stupid. Terminator sends greetings.
Okay for popcorn, otherwise hardly to be taken seriously.

Well, not as unrealistic as one might think. In the Caribbean and Bahamas and also in the South Seas, there are already islands that are not much bigger where people live. The house from the movie is in real life on a peninsula about 100m x 100m in size.

Sure, I’ve already vacationed on such islands. But is that a realistic home?
Maybe for DB managers. Certainly not for us and everyone else.
But that doesn’t change anything about the movie.

Well, it is set in the near future and not today. Furthermore, it is presented in the film not so much as a private home but rather as a refuge. As a rental property (if you disregard the smart gadgets) for a married couple of a lawyer and a successful reporter, I don’t necessarily find that far-fetched.
