The slightly offbeat film from South Korea "Parasite" immediately comes to mind; also something for architecture lovers

Is that the one where the family lives in the basement, and the woman is the housekeeper? Brilliant... I once tried to redraw it... my sheet of paper just wasn't enough :D

yep, exactly! I’ll have to check this weekend if my servants also come from the dungeon into my apartment. Ungrateful people.....

I really got the travel bug yesterday. A small house on a skerry, hot tub and peace. Nothing, no one, just peace.

That’s how I see it with smart homes too, and on top of that: in 30 years everyone will simply have one and no one will be able to imagine how it was without. Twenty years ago people made fun of online shopping saying "I don’t need that" and someone with a cell phone was still an "show-off" 25 years ago... I always find the use of the term "realistic" rather peculiar. Is a DB manager or their life "unrealistic"?

Yes, I completely agree that sooner or later all our houses will become more or less connected and "smart". We are already on the way there and the pace is increasing. Of course, everyone has a different understanding of what this "Smart" means.
