My wife works at DB and I do not mean a branch. And when I hear what the managers earn there, then yes, it is unrealistic. Unrealistic in the sense of surreal. Especially measured against the work performance that some have to deliver.

I did some googling. The HR directors at Deutsche Bahn earn around 400K€ per year, the chairman 900K€. These are top earners and at the same time still well below what people in similar positions receive in other companies. Of course, one can consider in what ratio this stands to the salary of a train conductor, a train attendant, or whoever. However, I do not find these salary ranges surreal or unrealistic - even if, with good results, significant bonuses are added to these base salaries.

I am rather talking about the lower-level managers. Team leaders, department heads, etc. €30K monthly salary +/- I find insanely high and inappropriate. But whatever, people can certainly have different opinions on that. Above all, it does not belong in this topic. :)

As for this TV, I also wondered what that is supposed to mean. My explanation is that the producers assume that by the year 2029 everything will only be filmed with smartphones and no one will watch normal widescreen movies anymore.

Yes, that would be the only logical explanation to lean such an oversized smartphone against the wall. Although that would still be strange for a smart home, because basically, a wall device, possibly even recessed in the wall with a facing panel in front, would be almost ideal here.
