This planning is terribly bad

I have looked at the plan several times and come to the conclusion, without being an architect, that I would feel comfortable in this house. For my taste, it is generously designed, the rooms seem coherent to me. The only thing I would change is the basement. Here I would like to reduce the size of the utility room a bit. WC at the bottom of the plan (behind the door), then washbasin at the top of the plan and shower on the right side of the plan. In my opinion, this would have the advantage that guests do not have to walk through the whole house all the time.

Hello Snow57, I don't quite understand your suggestion about the toilet (I guess I'm a bit slow ;-)
The utility room will be reduced by 10cm so that the shower will be easier to access.

The architect has now drawn it up "neatly" and of course adjusted the front with the windows. My "loopholes" now have reasonable dimensions and line up with each other :-)
Unfortunately, the program also distorts the views somewhat... So, it won't look as bad as shown.
@Bauexperte, three bands of light would probably be optimal in the ridge (I had misunderstood you before, so forget about the "plants will compensate for it") That obviously applies to the ground floor, where for example the window band somehow seems lost to me.

points I see:

- the exterior view is asymmetrical, the angle of the offset roof is not harmonious.
- the window at the top in the shed roof is a lonely loophole, I would make it bigger here or plan several
- in the upper floor a large part of the square meters is wasted on a gallery that no one uses anyway, at the same time the bathroom is not even 10 sqm and therefore close to social housing standards
- on the ground floor I find the living room too small

basically usable, but adjustments should be made.

Such statements are so wrong and unnecessary! Why have a giant bathroom? You barely spend time in there and have to heat it much more than other rooms. The bathroom is totally a matter of taste, but calling small bathrooms social housing is stupid.

I agree. In our rental apartment we currently have a very large bathroom. For our new house I wished for a bathroom of at most 10 sqm. I don't need a ballroom or a "wellness oasis" because I have no space to spare.

In the bathroom I need space for a large tub, a large shower, a sink, and a toilet. In between there should only be space to walk through. Period.

On the plans, our 11sqm bathroom looked tiny. Especially since there is also a knee wall of 1m. Now, when I stand inside, I wonder why we made it so big :D 90x90 shower, standard bathtub, toilet, and 2 washbasins... and still room to dance the waltz :)
