We recently had the same problem. In our construction and performance specification, the tile price (porcelain stoneware tiles 30x60 cm) is even only 25 €. The price planning dates back to 2020. Unfortunately, the start of construction was significantly delayed and meanwhile, according to the tile wholesale trade, prices for some products have risen significantly. In the end, we took both. Tiles within the construction and performance specification price range (hallway, kitchen, guest WC) and somewhat more expensive tiles for the two bathrooms. This way, the additional costs remain manageable.

We received an offer for tiles on 26.11.21 and again a new offer for the same tiles on 18.03.22. There is no price difference and the selected wall as well as floor tiles are available.
(A small downside; I prefer glossy tiles over matte tiles, among other things because glossy tiles reflect light better, but at the moment mainly matte tiles are offered and installed. Also, there is not a very large selection of colorful tiles, at least in local specialist stores, on the internet of course. Glossy is currently not in fashion.)
