We have a total of four corner sockets. Maybe I should just tell the kitchen fitter to remove the 60 cm cabinet again and restore the original state. It’s a bit annoying because we have an extra cabinet and he worked for free and ordered materials, but I consider it his oversight not to think that he had made various holes there.

Also an option. You have to decide.

I wouldn’t just let it keep being messed with, as it will only get worse.

Correct. Either dismantling without the 60 cm cabinet or completely with a new countertop and new niche cladding!

In the case of dismantling, I will of course not pay for the messed-up extension and for the "all new solution" I offer 50% of the costs.

Thank you for your opinion. :)

No, I wouldn’t be in favor of dismantling either. If I understood correctly, you would then have a gap next to the tall cabinet. How will that be filled?

Apparently, the row fits with the 60 cm cabinet. What is actually unpleasant is the jury-rigged countertop and also the wall. If there is no other solution for that and the power strip (doesn’t really look good. Another version probably wouldn’t cover the hole in the countertop, possibly a horizontal power strip and save the corner power strip. Then the gap at the wall covering would be visible again), I would actually prefer to have the entire countertop and wall paneling replaced. It will probably cost you something, but you might not be happy if you see that every day.

Good luck to you!

2 power strips side by side? That's nonsense.
No one probably knows why the countertop got a hole.
The hole in the countertop might possibly disappear with a proper XXL format wall trim. The hole in the wall at the back is trickier. Instead of another power strip, I would install a different device permanently. The first thing that comes to mind is some kind of light which preferably also covers the cables.

The countertops are not joined very nicely, in my opinion. Is the gap filled with silicone or how is it done?

I would find dismantling annoying, since you would lose a cabinet that you can definitely use well.

It was made like that in the old kitchen. Back then in the corner and now unfortunately further to the left. The countertop was taken over like that and only supplemented. That's how I understood it.
