The construction site is located approximately 1400 meters next to a wind turbine?!

Cool attitude. I hope you don't use electricity or voluntarily live right next to a nuclear power plant.

Hello everyone, so it is indeed the case that we have now decided not to build there. I would think at every little ache that it is due to the facilities. The problem is simply that there are too few, if any, meaningful studies on this. Maybe I am also painting the devil on the wall. But these facilities are located to the southwest of us and you can definitely hear them. I cannot assess anything else (infrasound). We have three small children and I cannot take the risk. Sure, everyone needs electricity and no one wants these things in front of their door, but for those who have them in front of their door, their quality of life often simply decreases.

The problem is that if there is no resistance, everything will be covered without question, and the ones with the better lawyer always win. What bothers me the most is that the wind turbines would probably never be profitable without subsidies, so everyone pays something while only a few benefit. PS. when I look north on a good day, I see a nuclear power plant :-) it should be Phillipsburg, about 40km as the crow flies.

such an answer can only come from someone who has absolutely no idea about it. typical manager ^^

with us, those things are turned out of the wind because you can't just shut down the nuclear power plant and still have to get rid of your energy. as long as electricity cannot be stored properly, more wind turbines here in the north are completely pointless.

however, the things do not pose any danger. infrasound, omg... the things make noise and cast shadows. that's it. still, I wouldn't want to live nearby.

south-west means that every evening in summer, when finishing work and grilling, you have the sun exactly over the blades. there won't be any fluttering, the things are too far away for that. still, it's not exactly beautiful. the noise level at the house can be calculated quite easily. (if you ignore the wind)
