The construction site is located approximately 1400 meters next to a wind turbine?!

We are talking about 1400 (in words: one thousand four hundred) meters here. You can also exaggerate fears!

Although it sounds like a plausible approach, it unfortunately brings no insight regarding low-frequency sound in infrasound; much more important here is the type and condition of the exterior building elements (the catch: the sound insulation rating of components is usually only specified down to 125 Hz. But it only gets interesting for infrasound/low-frequency sound below that) as well as the so-called room modes of the respective rooms. Depending on room modes and exterior components, low-frequency and infrasound components can be perceived much more strongly indoors (caution: not heard!) than outdoors.

@TE: If you have concerns, better leave it. Less than 1500m - regardless of topography - can (but doesn’t have to) be problematic. If you already show a certain sensitivity to it before purchasing the property - better keep your hands off.

I wasn’t talking about infrasound either. The infrasound levels that would occur in the house at 1400 meters distance would be pointless anyway. Anyone who believes in damaging effects of infrasound at this scale (WKA) probably only goes outside wearing a tin foil hat.

However, this is relevant here. A-weighted TA noise assessment levels are very likely actually irrelevant here.

Harmful effects can only be discussed to a limited extent. The OP is concerned about annoyance, and that can certainly be present. I also held the tin foil hat opinion for a long time until I spent several hours in an exposure room. Pleasant and homely is something else.

How tall are the current installations?

As part of the so-called "Repowering," old installations may be replaced by taller ones with total heights (including rotor) beyond 200m. These then run more slowly.

The A-weighted levels are the only relevant ones here. In my hunting area there are several wind turbines, and their emissions still bother me at 2,000 meters distance when the wind is "right."

I stick to my opinion that infrasound can at most be disturbing in the immediate vicinity, i.e. within 50 meters.
