The construction site is located approximately 1400 meters next to a wind turbine?!

What one rather perceives is the moving shadow cast by the rotor blades, but at 1400m I also consider it harmless

The shadows from the rotors are really annoying.

I just calculated it:
The tallest wind turbine in Germany is 230m according to Ostwind.de. That means at an angle of 9.3°, the rotors cast a shadow of 1400m.
This is according to Sonneverlauf.de today around 3 p.m.
Information without guarantee. That's the theory.

Practically, I would also say: don't build. If you think about it beforehand, it will only ruin you later.

I hope the link is okay, in our neighboring community things are buzzing there, a wind farm is supposed to be built.

Here was a link on the topic today

In fact, it is less the distance (whether 1200 or 1400m) that is the problem but the orientation to the sun. If the windENERGIEanlage (not power!) is north of you, you will hardly notice the light flickering. If it is west, you will see the fluttering every evening in summer at sunset. East means in the morning, and south in summer the sun is too high, in winter the flickering occurs at noon. There are laws and regulations stating that the system must not exceed a certain number of flickering hours per house per year. However, this limit is theoretically so high that at 1400m distance it is hardly relevant. Furthermore, you would have to prove that the hours are exceeded and then possibly sue, etc... It is better if noise is made from the very beginning and the installers no longer want the stress.

I have toned down the link a bit. The topic can still be found. You know: no links ;)

I think the wind turbine issue is the same as the problem with the telecom masts and the highways: wanting to always be reachable by mobile phone, wanting to get quickly from the village to the big city, but please no telecom masts and highways near me :)
