temporary flooring for underfloor heating

I would like to revive this thread and add my question..

If you lay laminate on a floor with underfloor heating, do you have to put a special underlay underneath?

Normally you put a "normal" impact sound insulation under it, but doesn't condensation or something form underneath when you turn on the heating?

Or do you put nothing underneath and lay the laminate directly on top?
Or do you use an underlay with a vapor barrier??

I always thought there were "combination products"? Like impact sound and walking sound insulation with an integrated vapor barrier, so you only put that on the screed and then lay the laminate directly on top.
(By the way: impact sound only applies to sound going downwards! Walking sound applies to sound going upwards, i.e. the walking noises on the floor)

You can't lay the laminate directly on the screed. It will rattle as if you are constantly hitting plastic against concrete! :eek:

Next to my workplace there's a Bauhaus. I just went there during my break and asked..

There is a combo of impact sound and vapor barrier. It's an 18 sqm roll and costs just under 37 euros.

He told me that normal impact sound insulation is not suitable. And that you could basically lay the floor without an underlay, but then the floor would eventually swell.
