Hello,
We have built in a new development area.
There are about 30 houses here, of which possibly 4-6 have a white roof box, the rest have anthracite.
At all houses with white roof boxes, the swallows try to build a nest on the facade, just below the roof box.
It does not matter whether it is a gable roof or a city villa. At the neighbor's it is very bad. He now has 7 spots about 40cm in diameter. I (city villa) also saw 3 spots the size of a walnut today.
The swallows do not go on any wooden beams or anything on the gable roofs, it is really always on the plaster.
Does anyone here possibly have an explanation or advice?
