Surcharge for facade paint from white to color?

Well, naive... Of course we expected an extra charge, but not 4,000€. That's quite a lot for a different color, even for the Haus ratio...

Therefore the tip is to define the house as precisely as possible before signing the contract. At that point, you still have the option to switch providers if one overdoes it. Or you leave the house white and paint it yourself later.

You can't process as many tips as you get there.

One more question on the side, what is more recommended if the appearance doesn’t matter: plaster with 3-grain or 2-grain texture?

So in the summer of 2021, we paid exactly 4003 € for 240 sqm of facade and 51m of [Leibungen] (area Baden-Württemberg South). It was painted twice with Brillux facade paint.

Okay, I’m not quite sure how exactly you’re supposed to calculate it, but since I designed our house myself, I was able to simply click on the exterior surfaces, with the windows already excluded. That gives me 385 sqm. I also didn’t take the reveals into account. Considering that it’s now the year 2023 and we’re still building in the Stuttgart metropolitan area, you could almost see our 4,000€ as a bargain :p. That’s gallows humor...
