No, I was the one who was slow-witted – after all, I misunderstood your question and asked too late.
We talked past each other, which isn’t a big deal and can happen.

However, portraying yourself as a victim or the dumbest person on earth is not right. I also find it disconcerting that the interest in helping the OP, that is, just the time invested for the OP, is classified as arrogant and unkind.

In our really nice forum, we repeatedly have questions about how to take not entirely legal steps or questioners whose answers never suit them. They then also get a bit cheeky like you did in #5 and complain about the tone here because, naturally, the tone becomes a bit firmer then. Your explanations at the beginning did not read clearly to me, yet I invested the time despite #5.

In this respect, questions of all kinds are always welcome. However, it can happen that annoyed answers come when the same question is asked every week because you can also gladly look up old topics in the forum and find your question there; search functions exist too.
There are things I could write anew every second day. It is rare that a prospective homeowner informs himself in other threads.
Am I therefore offended? Sensitivities shouldn’t be acted out in a forum, nor in housebuilding. I keep learning the latter :)

I'm only reading this now:
Again: It should be clear not only to me but also to you that we talked past each other.
Therefore, you shouldn't pick apart my answers now.
By the way, you are the only one using the word "stupid" here.

: The "stupid" was primarily related to the thread title - at that time I had no idea that no one would understand me. The statements also referred to the reactions in general - not specifically to yours! I don’t find my somewhat "casual" style of response inappropriate compared to the answers I received... Unfortunately, one gets little concrete assistance here (not just related to you!) and rather is left hanging a bit, and a little bit of mockery is directed at the completely clueless questioner (what an impertinence!), and I don’t think that is quite fair. That’s what the "stupid" etc. was referring to - I never claimed that anyone called me that.

But it’s okay - I really seem to be too sensitive for this forum and will stay a quieter reader from now on, if I may.

Of course you may read along :)

Where is someone being made fun of? You can also tell me via private message.
I know almost every thread – that would only be known to me with certain people or with questioners who don’t listen/read and always ask the same thing again. We do pay some attention to the added value of a post, even if we quietly tolerate quarrels (without added value), we are aware of that and pay attention.

I just feel that way – and I’ve noticed it in several threads already. But maybe I’m really oversensitive and also know a much more helpful way of interacting from forums.

That’s probably a matter of taste. I just think that if you’re experienced in such a forum, you should either share knowledge and help (nicely and not solely in a lecturing way) or just leave it – but then you really don’t have to comment at all. The reactions here are often slightly annoyed/eye-rolling – so I wonder why people get so actively involved if all these ignorant ones are so annoying.

Most of us probably build houses only once or a few times in life – so it’s usually “the first time.” And that’s not bad either, is it?

Now I got carried away again and wrote such a novel
