sorry, I seem to be exceptionally slow-witted. If you want to explain it to me, go ahead! Otherwise, just let me die stupid.

I find it extremely unfortunate that people seeking help here are often met with a certain arrogance from above – I feel like the dumbest person on earth every time...
Maybe that’s the case. Or maybe I am oversensitive. Or maybe some people like to show off in front of the newcomers.
I really find it a shame – I had hoped to be able to ask "stupid" questions here and there in the coming months.

You have to admit, the atmosphere here is not exactly the warmest...

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you about the manners.

I believe what you intend to do is possible. If I understand you correctly, you just want the entire financing amount to be drawn at the end.

We bought the land from our actual equity. All the purchase and incidental construction costs are included in the loan amount. Now we have paid nearly 8,000 KN from the checking account. We will submit the invoices when we need the money.

You are oversensitive and trying to put the cart before the horse.

But no matter what, at the latest when the house is built, you will have changed :-)

I have a question: are you aware that the equity you stated has to be used up first before the bank starts paying? That means if you stated 30k equity to the bank but actually wanted to use it for the kitchen, theoretically, that is not possible?

: The 30 are not stated as equity! Only the land is stated as equity. I understand that the stated equity must first be spent before the bank pays out.

I also partly find it unfortunate how some people are “attacked” here in the forum. Actually, it is directly assumed that there is an attempt to cheat the bank, which is probably not the case.
In principle, I can understand both sides here:
On the one hand, you cannot withhold equity from the bank and then use it to finance “private” things that are not part of the house equipment.

However, I have a question similar to the thread starter:
On the other hand, what if what I spend in advance as equity actually belongs to the equipment and increases the value of the house? For example, laying trench collector pipes for the later heat pump in the ground?
Or filling up the plot to level it and walling it off to the neighboring property (with, for example, a long concrete wall or large rubble stones)?

This of course reduces the existing equity and thus also leads to less favorable conditions from the bank.
I think it is possible to explain this to the bank and have it credited.

However, with purchased goods, as in the thread starter’s case, this should not be possible or even forbidden?!?
