Strong paint smell after painting after 6 weeks

Help, we have freshly painted our living room and after 6 weeks it still smells strongly. The smell is hard to classify. However, it does not smell musty or like rotten eggs.

The following materials were used:
Putzgrund von Sto Silikat
Silikat Putzgrund: StoPrep Sil
Silikat Oberputz: StoDecosit K
Paint: Stocolor Sil Comfort
The room is completely empty -> another source of the smell can be ruled out.

I cannot get rid of it by airing. My building biologist is at his limits and an analysis of 300 substances unfortunately also yielded nothing. Does anyone have an idea?

I don’t know if that helps or if it was exactly this smell. But our silicate paint also had a special smell for about 2 months. Maybe take a sniff in the paint bucket to see if that might be the smell.

Only the living room? So existing? What was on it before and how was the wall treated before the base coat and top coat plaster were applied?

If it smelled exactly like from the paint can, the OP would probably have noticed that already (I hope)...

Yes, we only renovated the living room. We removed the wallpaper and applied the base plaster to the existing plaster wall (masonry, built in 1995). The paint bucket smells normal :/

Hmm, not sanded beforehand? It could be that the old paste or even the old plaster reacts with something. But I don't know enough about that either.
