Stability of a prefab house - is there anything to consider?

You recognized that correctly: these are normally heavy things, and therefore no cause for concern. Your house also has normally stiff ceilings. Structural engineers are just as careful with prefabricated houses as they are with solid constructions.

Much badmouthing is done about prefab houses. As an expert, I would not have bought a prefab house, and certainly would not have simply placed an aquarium with 2300l inside if I had doubts. I had already built solid houses twice, and after my first prefab house, I would not do it again. The prefab houses of today cannot be compared to those from 40 years ago.
