Spoiler alert: Babies are the cheapest children you can have and no, you don't need a new car for them. On the contrary, toddlers are very talented at making new cars look old. Better drive your car for another 6-7 years or buy something for half the price.
The car is a new vehicle, now 2 years old, list price 60k and currently leased at corporate customer rates until 10/23. Residual value expected to be 36k. My other car is 12 years old (originally 50k). Every 10 years the older one turns 20 and is replaced. I will not deviate from that, the child must behave in the car. No eating in the car. A protective cover on the backrest of the rear seat is of course mandatory.
