I believe you keep misunderstanding me, you can apparently somehow work with a free version of the software at KNX and just have to do some tinkering for it. I'm not talking about illegal things but probably about something that some people do with KNX. Otherwise, in my opinion, this discussion doesn’t belong here.

There is the Light version, where I believe you can manage 20 devices. You would then need multiple projects.

The Lite version costs €200. There is a €140 voucher if you take the course. VAT, shipping + dongle: you effectively pay €90 for the Lite.

: The cabinet looks pretty bad, does your electrician still have an overview there? I'm glad we have 3 distribution panels and use more KNX.

He still had a complete overview there. All wires are neatly labeled and even after I told him he had to put a switch somewhere else for me, he immediately knew where to look.

I was really sad when they told me: "No, unfortunately we can't leave any more space for you on the rail. It's already tight enough."

So for my future planning, I definitely need another cabinet next to it.
