Respect, we (also 2 kids) barely manage here with 105sqm apartment + 20sqm basement (which is practically full with bikes + trailer and car stuff (bike rack, roof box, etc)) (storage space :/)

I would also address the other houses to see to what extent something should/must be done there.

Exactly, as the saying goes, you can’t see the forest for the trees and the good is right next door: many townhouse buyers are not even aware that "townhouse" means having neighbors who are fellow sufferers, who can share experiences with the same model from the same year of construction. It doesn’t really matter how many houses the "own" row has, since often there are even more identical models standing around in the same housing estate. The likelihood that no one has any building plans anymore is low. And with a construction year "from 69 years ago," there will have already been multiple changes of ownership and renovations / modernizations of various scopes and qualities in the neighborhood. With such a richly equipped analog environment, I wouldn’t go digital to inform myself.
