No empty conduit, no me.
Areas that are no longer accessible (e.g. intermediate ceilings) should of course be equipped with empty conduits. Likewise, cables that have shorter lifespans, such as intercom systems (if, for example, 4 cores are no longer sufficient after replacement), antenna cables (kinks, more dB), network cables (if, for example, CAT6, CAT7 are replaced by fiber optics), speaker cables. Connection cables between important nodes, such as control cabinets on each floor or from the main control cabinet to the garage distribution (if, for example, three-phase current from 16A is to be switched to 32A later), should also be laid in empty conduits.
A normal power cable in the room will not be pulled out again so quickly; repairs usually take place locally. During major renovations, everything is ripped out anyway and room design, as well as the positions of switches and sockets, are changed.
When laying empty conduits to the outside (outdoor socket, antenna, intercom), remember the Blower Door Test.
