I am looking for white, stile doors as sliding doors for built-in wardrobes. I have already found the rails - "Horus" - (each wardrobe will have two sliding doors that hang from above and slide in front of each other). But now I need the doors - cheap, white, not solid wood, without rails and not pre-drilled. I find such things in England for £30-£60 at Homebase/B&Q etc., but I could only send them here if I pay someone about £1000. In Germany, I have not yet found any without rails/holes, and those sold with rails cost about €400 or so. A website offered made-to-measure double sliding doors for €990 :O Each bedroom will have about 2 such doors, so we will need at least 8. You can find examples if you google "bypass closet". Is there maybe somewhere else I can look? A special word for doors that are not ready for mounting? Many thanks for your help :)

[A special word for doors that are not finished for installation? Thank you very much for your help :)] The word you are looking for is: carpenter or also joiner ;-)

But this will definitely be expensive, right? You can't buy something like that here otherwise?

Maybe you can install sliding doors from the Ikea wardrobe system Pax accordingly for your wall cabinets.

it probably won't be possible, especially because: is a broad term. White coated? If yes, with melamine, lacquer, foil...? would mean that there has to be a carrier material to apply the aforementioned coatings. Chipboard, MDF or HDF boards are the most commonly used carrier boards for sliding doors.

In my opinion, £30-£60 does not suggest - I just claim - very good quality. Furthermore, I believe that the sliding door systems you mentioned may be sufficient, but as I think, they are quite simple in that price range. Compare for example the Top Line systems from Hettich.

Also, as you requested, style sliding doors can be manufactured in various ways, which in turn affects the price.

Therefore, my recommendation is to get quotes from a woodworker according to your wishes, especially if it involves custom sizes.
