The living room with a dining table would be somewhat small, not too large. The kitchen is sufficient with a small table, but too small as the main dining area.
Why is the house being squeezed into the southernmost corner of the plot?
I see this too often, that the house is pushed against some property boundary (because they want a large garden), and the comfort in the driveway area or front garden suffers greatly. On the garden side, you can easily manage with a meter less, but on the other side you could create space for maneuvering vehicles including wheelbarrows.
In this case, I would possibly rotate the house and set it further back, rather than having to look at the fleet of vehicles from the living room.
