The living room with a dining table would be somewhat small, not too large. The kitchen is sufficient with a small table, but too small as the main dining area.
Why is the house being squeezed into the southernmost corner of the plot?
I see this too often, that the house is pushed against some property boundary (because they want a large garden), and the comfort in the driveway area or front garden suffers greatly. On the garden side, you can easily manage with a meter less, but on the other side you could create space for maneuvering vehicles including wheelbarrows.
In this case, I would possibly rotate the house and set it further back, rather than having to look at the fleet of vehicles from the living room.

The house must be placed there because north of the property there is a small forest and thus the 25m distance from the forest must be observed, unfortunately. Since we don't have guests very often, we thought we could move the table then. We will discuss it again. Are there any more ideas/photos for above? :-) Especially the stairs with the two high walls and the roof hatch still worry me :-(

If you plan to build the DB, then it is the wrong house. There are enough floor plans that have a double switchback staircase in the middle, so that a staircase to the [DG] can also be built in the stairwell there.

How are you going to rearrange the table for guests?

And, in the kitchen planning, there is practically hardly any workspace planned. Does only one person ever work in your kitchen, and don’t you have anything standing around (coffee machine, coffee maker, food processor)?

To install a staircase for the attic conversion, there are exactly 2 possibilities: 1. Option: you reduce the size of the dressing room and make a space-saving staircase up 2. Option (and for me the better one): [Tonne] and [Neuanfang]

Are there floor plans with 5 rooms and the possibility? If yes, do you happen to know where? :-)
I just asked Google, but I'm not quite clear why a "double-winder" is good for a staircase to the attic?

By rearranging the table I meant that for Christmas the table is carried into the living room.

Or give up the attic, we probably need to think about that again.

Thanks already for the advice :)
