Partial reengineering is a contradiction in itself, as unfortunately also evidenced by the result. This is neither fish nor fowl. Your design does not exactly promote the beauty of a gable roof. I am amazed that with so much drafting you do not realize yourself that the building as a whole would not look botched even remotely with no shed roof. Nor would I want to carry the lawnmower over the stairs or have Scotty beam the bicycles over the car.

Are the children not allowed to ride their bikes when the car is in the garage? I don’t know anyone who has a garage that is so narrow that you have to get in or out outside.

A 240 cm table in the bay window? Then no one fits at the head side.

How do you imagine furnishing the entrance area?

Upstairs in the bedroom you don’t have much space for wardrobes, but a lot of free space.

I would plan anew. House rectangular instead of square. Garage a bit wider and better usable. Remove the bay window. Costs a lot of money with sealing the roof terrace with questionable benefit.

Draw the 2 m line upstairs.

I see everything the same way as my predecessors.

Now you have these many 3D pictures and you don’t see that when someone gets out of bed, they fully hit the slope. Even if the knee wall is 180, you should first check exactly what remains inside at that spot in terms of insulation, etc.

Instead of 3 pictures, dimensioned floor plans including drawn-in furnishings, from which you can derive window positions, etc., would be much more practical.

And as always the advice... don’t just sketch furnishings somewhat schematically, but always with the actual wishes.

What is wrong with everyone about a bay window? We also have such a bay window, but with floor-to-ceiling glazing, which I find very important, it looks very good and simply looks much better than normal windows. With a width of 3.70m and a table 2.40m wide placed crosswise, there is only 65cm of space on the right and left, which looks very cramped, especially since the living room has a lot of space in other areas. From the outer edge of the table to the wall, I would plan 1m of space.

Best regards

Yes, maybe in a rental apartment. But not if I build a house for over half a million.

It's not quite clear to me yet. If only the roofs mentioned above are permitted, the knee wall doesn't change that. What exactly does the development plan say?

most garages are only 3m wide ours isn’t either, but only my car is parked there and nothing else. I would not allow children to park their bicycles there either, I value my car too much for that. For the bicycles, we have a separate room behind the garage.

Best regards
