Don’t worry, my husband is a fisherman, but luckily he doesn’t catch anything. ;) But that's true, the advantage of the width might outweigh the dislike of the 2-door design. I still have to think about it a bit. By the way, the current appliance will remain with us and move into the pantry. So, space-wise it should really be enough then. There’s no more!

Single malt with ice I consider a mortal sin.

But WhiskEy (that is Bourbon): Ok.

Why one should drink Grants is beyond me in any possible scenario.

What was the topic again?

By the way, I just noticed that the devices without ice dispensers are more expensive than those with them. What does that tell us? The junk has to go, and if you take one, you get a discount? (1-Stichprobenziehung)

I also don’t understand why anyone would drive a Dacia, but many do. It’s just a matter of taste and budget. I’m also not someone who does something because others want/demand it, but rather does what he likes. And if I drink something with cola, I’d rather take cheap booze than expensive quality.

The topic was Side by Side :-)

So unfortunately, I cannot recommend Samsung at all. Our French Door is now 3 years old and it has had problems with the ice maker from the beginning. It always freezes up because in this type it is not located in the freezer but in the regular refrigerator door. The technician came at least 5 times during the warranty period; each time everything was replaced and twice we had to defrost everything, which was a huge effort. Conclusion: the part never worked... now it is three years old and the part doesn't work again. Samsung's response: they don't care, the warranty has expired. To treat customers like this who have paid 3000 euros, this company will never see me again. It is simply a design flaw.

I had grown to love the ice maker when it worked and do not want to miss it.
