The WC fuse has been switched on again. I assume it is a "loose contact." Since there is the shut-off function (and the water – without a bottom – largely ends up in the bathtub opposite), I risk that it will happen again. (that would also be interesting for the root cause analysis) The company AXENT must/will take a look at it and make a proposal. My impression when "looking around" on the internet is: the range has significantly broadened over the past 3 years. Just now, while I am writing, an email arrives: The operating manual is attached. On page 48 it is described that the contacts must be cleaned regularly. Have you done this? Cleaning the contacts ensures fault-free operation. If the contacts are not cleaned for an extended period and dirt accumulates there, malfunctions can occur. Perform the cleaning and check whether it improves. If there is no improvement, please contact your installer and file a complaint there. If you have further questions, you are welcome to contact us by phone. Best regards ...

Well, with my very first hint in #3, I was already on the right track. Now one can only hope that it also helps.

Yes, that's true. I could imagine that such a part DOES NOT work if it is dirty. (which was probably the cause, but it really wasn't that dirty). However, I wouldn't have thought that it would do something it is not supposed to do and at any random time because of that. My circular saw at least does not turn on "at some point" just because the chips were not cleaned away.... I have the impression: The company is not "to blame," but I will not recommend them for the time being. Such a thing should not happen, and the engineers should design it so that it cannot happen. So! That is my opinion. Thank you for your "being there."

When I have to go, I have to. I don't have the patience to first reject pop-up cookie warnings from my toilet flush, only after which the toilet seat lid may be lifted :-(

Oh, the next-generation toilet will be waiting for you with the lid open and the seat preheated (auf für dich optimale Temperatur), because it already knows that you have to go before you do! :P

Let's continue

The same Axent toilet, a new problem:
The electrical system has a fundamental glitch - which means it sometimes doesn't turn on... and sometimes also doesn't turn off. (the contacts have been cleaned multiple times)
Calls:
1. We didn't try the installation company because it was the first shower toilet they installed (a nice company in the countryside)
2. You cannot reach anyone at Axent by phone.
3. The dealer still hadn't called back after 2 days (actually a friendly gentleman)
4. The Axent repair company says:
"If the contacts have not been cleaned regularly and such a glitch appears, there is nothing we can do. Buy a new lid" ... what it costs they could not say.

I am quite annoyed and cleaned the visible contacts with abrasive fleece. It helped "a bit." The glitch only occurs now in one place (when lifting the lid completely).

The annoying thing is:
The shower toilet system is so convenient that I definitely want to keep having something like this. The company Axent is from proper Switzerland and I am surprised that it is going so badly with them.
I would - for another place in the house - also choose another company (and be annoyed that everything is different from what I’m used to) but after this experience I don’t trust others anymore either...

I just needed someone to tell about this...
Thanks for reading :)
