It was the same for us. We even brought the key to the house ourselves. Only the notary appointment is more annoying when it comes to "money for nothing."

Lucky is the one who knows the legal situation and can possibly outsmart incompetent real estate agents ...

Unbelievable how trifling 90% black sheep ruin the image of an entire profession. How good that I am a management consultant ;-)

I only see one possible profit motive as an additional "cost item," which, if a property is completed on 12/31 and sold on 01/01, is purely virtual as a cost item. There is no value behind it. Or, in other words, it is pure speculation.

We can gladly talk about management consultants in another thread. The best experience still comes from the employees themselves, only they are rarely if ever asked.

And in today’s real estate situation, what enormous effort does the realtor have? Properties/land sell by themselves. It is okay if an older person hires a realtor, but then you could also entrust the bank with it. In my eyes, realtors are totally unnecessary.

Exactly. You write that on flip charts, draw little clouds around it, and then get paid for it by the bosses. And then you go to the golf course and ponder heavily over the question "718 or 911?" Definitely after twenty years of the Euro.
