Inspiration could also be found in caravan / motorhome floor plans. I would not expect usual building standards in this holiday home.

No idea what you mean. Do you have a picture? We are far from that, I think.

It is about a berth where the bed is placed lengthwise against the wall and built in on the left and right (foot and head ends). This uses very little space, namely only the bed itself and the one side to walk on. The construction can also be found in caravans and is called a cross sleeper. Here, in this case, the bed is in the corner and the wardrobe is in front of the foot end.

I don't find the idea of wrong. However, I would look at tiny houses and other holiday cottages. In Scandinavia, you often see floor plans on the relevant portals.

A hems is a sleeping space that does not have full standing height. In many Danish holiday homes, there are room layouts where a niche or closet is used to integrate a sleeping place without defining a separate bedroom for it. Often these sleeping places are simply separated by a curtain, so that the sleeping area is not visible during the day. Posting a link is unfortunately not allowed and I don’t have a rights-free (own) photo available at the moment. I think so too. The creators of these products are definitely good for ideas on dealing with tight space conditions. Definitely in any case. Under the term "chalet," especially in the Netherlands and Belgium, there are a lot of floor plans for small spaces.

Oh, that's why this thread exists "twice" (and to my surprise originally 49210 and now 49206).
