You have to look that up in your statutes.

Here I pay roughly €1.50 per m³ of fresh water. Wastewater costs twice as much on top. You save the latter if you have a separate meter, since no wastewater is produced (it seeps into the ground). For a garden, 30-40 m³ per year are easily used, which would be €90-120 wastewater fees per year.

A calibrated meter on Amazon costs €20. Plus installation.
