YOU don't need to NEED them either. It also works perfectly fine with various 5-way extension cords. But that's not nice, and if I'm already building, then as sensibly as possible. Our children have at least double sockets in every corner of the room (except behind the door) and also at the entrance area. In addition, there are connections for Sat/cable as well as network sockets for phone/internet. That does come with significant additional costs, but it's worth it.

Hello,

If you think that most users here are any different, you are on the wrong track. However, I do hold on to the idea that some users have gained very good information through the forum; perhaps even resulting in not being able to build.

No, why should I? The question rather is: why build a new house if it is only possible with many restrictions? It’s no shame to be a tenant ...?

Totally different "toys" have found their way into children’s rooms in recent years than in your childhood or certainly mine. Three sockets are not enough, an "upgrade" with 3- or 5-plug power strips is not really what the inventor intended; a subsequent expansion is also not so easily possible.

Rhenish regards

And what if we are right and you end up looking foolish?

For example heating, why are the manufacturer and model not stated in the construction description? I want to know what I am getting for my hard-earned money. In my opinion, transparency is missing here.
What about the floor coverings? Flooring work is not part of the contract.
Do you now have a guaranteed KfW 55? Is that stated in the contract? Who provides the proof?
Also take a close look at the payment plan ... advance payment? Have you checked the provider’s creditworthiness?
What will you do if they go bankrupt? Are you covered? Who manages the construction supervision and the final acceptance? A neutral expert? Questions upon questions ....

All these hints you receive here are only a fraction of what may be missing or unknown to you.

KFW55 would not apply at all.
We would get Kfw 70 through the underfloor heating. Good question who accepts or guarantees this.
He said payment is always made in installments after the service has been performed and everything is finished without errors.
You cannot verify the provider, you find nothing about him, except that he is registered somewhere with his tax number or something.
I am not insured if someone goes bankrupt, can this even be insured? The contract mentions something about construction liability insurance and such, which I have to take out.
Construction management and acceptance is done by the architect (general contractor). However, I had already mentioned that once.

I understand that extension sockets are not pretty, but somehow doable and not visible under/behind a desk anyway.
And why is an extension not simply possible? Chiseling a slot, branching off the cable, installing a new socket, filling, done.

Being a tenant is of course no disgrace, but wasted money and not my dream either.

Maybe you should simply find out who bought the already built half of the house and specifically ask them about the additional costs and the quality.

We already have the names, but unfortunately no phone number or anything else. Not even found on face-Book, since the name "Schuhmacher" is very common.
