You need a real estate agent if you can't sell, are not eloquent, cannot provide on-site support, and do not know the market or where to get all the necessary documents.

It is certainly easy to snap a few photos (unfortunately most agents still do that), and put an ad on the portal, but in every photo, in every written line, you could unknowingly insert a really bad faux pas. The price can also be overplayed; then you burn the listing on the portals, if it is too cheap, within a few days you get in trouble and have to get a new phone number.

The lease contract continues. There is neither a termination nor a new contract. What you’re saying about a new lease would be new to me.

Exactly... The lease agreement is transferred to the buyer.

Because brokers are always good salespeople and eloquent? Provide on-site support? Know the market and obtain all the necessary papers? Bold claim.

A real estate sale must have been truly awful before the broker boom swept the market in the last 20 years... how did it even work without brokers? After all, there are so many documents to organize.

I believe: we have simply become lazy and comfortable and convince ourselves that this gives us some advantages. I can no longer hear the praises of the great brokers. Sorry.

But you are confusing something. This is not a hymn of praise, only everyone should be a bit more self-critical and not overestimate their abilities. I also did not say that you should take the agent with the worst reputation or one who has failed in their profession.

And yes, I assume you cannot imagine what the professional world looked like without PCs, the internet, mobile phones, and energy performance certificates. Life and time did not start with your year of birth (don’t forget who you are not ;) ), so do not judge something you do not know.

I have pointed out arguments where it is better to take a professional. By the way, I also can no longer read that many are great all-rounders just because there is YouTube and the internet to read up on.

By the way, one more argument comes to mind: If you are hideous or have some pimples on your face, you won’t sell so quickly either :)
