We definitely cannot confirm this. We are also currently building in the district of Emmendingen. My wife is a teacher too. She had to commute to Pforzheim for several years from here. Daily 3-4 hours of travel time. After the Referendariat, she can be transferred anywhere. Meanwhile, we have 4 children and this year it worked out.
