In my case, it was stated as § without an amount in the purchase contract. I don’t believe the buyer had to pay more at the notary because of that.
Actually, it only postponed the handover of the keys; the transfer of possession was confirmed as usual upon receipt of payment.
Even my banker was impressed; he always has all contracts reviewed by a colleague before signing.
The buyer’s financing bank also approved it without any complaints.
The bank already knows the value of the property anyway.
