Hello everyone,

we are slowly making progress.
A friend who is a farmer has offered us several plots to choose from and sketched them beautifully by hand, since the plan from the municipality still needs to be adjusted.

I tried to represent everything very amateurishly (yes yes, I know) in Excel.
Actually, only two plots are an option for us, which are numbered 1+2 in the sketch.

For number 1, you access the plot via the entrance in the north, and the garden and terrace are located in the south.

Plot number 2 has the entrance in the south. This means the garden and terrace are on the west side. The disadvantage I noticed here is that the garden faces the street.

Basically, we are not extreme sun worshippers, but how does it look in terms of energy?
What argues for/against the plots and the fixed orientations of the houses?

Which plot do you tend to?

Thank you for your ideas!

You must like the location. Without further information, it is difficult to assess. But with the given information, I would tend towards 1.

PS: Excel is the first choice for tables, not for graphics.

What is to the right (in the east) of the properties? Is everything flat? I would tend to choose option 1. Of course, that somewhat depends on the surroundings?

Ha, if we knew what to pay attention to, we would also know what we (better) like.

In the east, it's all fields. Who knows what will be there later.

PS: Sketch in Excel is clearly born out of necessity. In which standard program would you have done that?

And yes, everything is flat.
