IKEA is not far from us. There's also coffee at our place. ;)
Then I can free myself from the miserable IKEA machinery. I always dread it when I drive to the furniture store (IKEA) with my wife for a shelf and then every time get funneled through all the departments so that I see something I didn’t know whether I needed, which suddenly becomes very important and in the end just collects dust. The same game again one floor down.
When I finally get out of IKEA, my wife is happy and I am annoyed and slightly aggressive.

Ours looks like this from the front and also has everything that makes a child's heart leap higher.
Since the manufacturer is based in NRW, it might be that it is more commonly found in your area.
If I see it correctly, you also have the sandbox underneath – also coverable. The children found it quite funny when I explained to them in "visual language" why the sandbox has a heavy lid (anti-cat toilet). I also found the kids' reasoning funny about why such a heavy lid is not enough: "But if several cats stand (side by side) and lift the lid with their paws, then they could still do their stinky business in the sand." Anyone who can draw cartoons is welcome to illustrate this visually :D.
I always thought such a steering wheel was great. My father-in-law just suggested on Friday attaching an old wheelbarrow wheel to a piece of rebar as an axle. I'm still not sure how this might affect durability. You would ideally have to attach the "steering wheel" to one of the strong (load-bearing) posts. But every hole would be a point of attack for moisture/rot.
Hehe yes, the sandbox is also underneath with a lid... however, ours is only 1.80m x 1.80m
You can buy the steering wheel like that, depending on the version it costs 10-30 euros. I would rather take something ready-made for the kids instead of rebar, etc.
