Hello,
does anyone actually know why the bargain corners at Ikea have declined so much? Until recently, you could find all sorts of things there, especially individual boards that might have broken, etc. When you are unemployed and unfortunately get a new apartment without a kitchen in a new city and your own parts are not enough, you naturally look for the cheapest possible solutions, and I always thought that the bargain corner was a place where you could find something. Apparently, that’s no longer the case, and I wonder why. Does Ikea now simply throw away slightly damaged furniture???
Is it allowed to post searches here? I’ll try and hope I’m not shooting myself in the foot with this.
I am looking in/around Berlin (radius approx. 50 km)
1. IKEA Faktum
- 3x base cabinet 80 cm wide or the shelves and top rails from those, I theoretically have the side panels from other, no longer usable cabinets (too narrow in width) from my "old" kitchen
- 1 reinforced bottom for a tall cabinet (fridge-freezer cabinet), where the bottom partially broke apart with the feet during dismantling, so not a shelf, but the cabinet bottom, so to speak
- Faktum legs plastic 16 cm
- Perfect stainless steel look plinth - maybe someone has leftovers?
2. Cover for Lycksele armchair in beige or red (Henan, this fine cord cover) Maybe someone has a used one lying around?
3. Hemnes dresser in black-brown, 3 drawers – who wants to get rid of one cheaply??
4. Hemnes double bed black-brown 140x200. Slatted frame and mattress are available, only looking for the frame or willing to exchange (with extra payment for Hemnes double bed) against Aneboda double bed 140x200 in white (frame only)
5. domsjö ceramic sink (single basin, the small one that you install into the countertop)
6. Abstrakt fronts in red, if anyone has some leftover, I have pretty much all base cabinet widths. Maybe there is a mistaken purchase somewhere...
7. Avsikt fronts (70 cm height) for wall cabinets, also almost all widths here
I search everywhere, on Ebay, classifieds, and whatever else can be found online. I am happy about any offers in and around Berlin. Dismantling, pickup, etc. is no problem.
It’s unfortunately a lengthy process because my budget is so tight. But maybe someone also has a tip, I’m new in Berlin. Maybe there are used IKEA furniture somewhere? In Berlin, almost everything seems possible :)
Many kind regards,
Thouy
