Search for Ikea oak worktop

Hi, Are solid wood panels also available in thicknesses over 3cm? Currently, for Faktum, there is no solid oak panel and the new Metod countertops are only 2.8 cm thick as solid wood. Does anyone have experience with thinner countertops, also in laminate, etc.? I’m tagging along here because I want a new countertop in the summer and most at Ikea are now only thinner. Best regards

At Metod there are 2.8 and 3.8 solid wood panels.

I was only looking at the pre-cut countertops and there the 3.8 cm thick boards are only veneered.

For thinner panels, it should be noted that manufacturers often specify a minimum panel thickness of 38 mm when installing a cooktop above an oven.
