Hello,
I am planning to get some Ivar shelves. Does anyone know the best way to treat them so that they:
1. do not darken but rather keep the beautiful light wood tone as much as possible
2. are washable since I also want to integrate some of them in the kitchen
I was thinking of a so-called "lacquer glaze" in transparent, which, as far as I know, comes in glossy and matte. Since I have no experience with Ivar at all, I would be very grateful for any advice. In some forums, I read that you have to sand the shelves a bit beforehand? Is that correct?
I am open to any recommendations. Thanks
