Hello, (I hope I am in the right subforum),
we had calcium sulfate screed laid (Calciumsulfat Knauf FE50), after about 7 days of drying program MobiHeat was started. After rapid, strong heating, the house was cold again after 2 days. MobiHeat was apparently defective, replacement device installed, unfortunately still does not work. (The construction power box is now supposedly to blame)
-> what could have possibly happened now? Could the screed possibly be damaged? How can I as a layperson find out?
Best regards

The damage is likely to be mainly in your wallet. If you restart the program from the very beginning, nothing should really happen. Quickly and strongly heating up would be more of the issue there. Normally, you increase the temperature very slowly so that the moisture can escape from the screed.

Do you mean the construction power costs?
The device rental fee is actually irrelevant to me; that's the general contractor's business. By "quickly," I meant about 24-36 hours. It did seem a bit fast to me as well... Thanks!

"Could the screed possibly have been damaged?"
Answer:
A screed doesn't really care whether it is heated/can be heated or not!
Therefore, no damage can occur if it is heated in a "stuttering" manner.
However, for the topic of "functional and readiness heating," it is something completely different!
My tip:
When the heating is working again, run the entire program according to the heating-up specifications.
Two or three days after turning off the heat, then again for 1 day at full temperature, as much as the supply allows.
Occasionally ventilate the room by fully opening windows briefly so that the moisture from the screed can be released to the outside air.

Good luck: KlaRa

Do you or the general contractor pay for the construction electricity? Now I still need signs
